Does it handle Latin American vs European Spanish?
Yes. The model is trained on Spanish from many regions. Vocabulary differences (vosotros vs ustedes, regional slang) transcribe as spoken; extremely local slang is the main place accuracy dips.
What about Spanglish or code-switching with English?
Spanglish that borrows single words (parquear, el meeting, un email) transcribes fine; that kind of mixing is normal training reality. Interviews that alternate whole sentences between Spanish and English are harder for any model, so set the language to whichever one carries most of the conversation.
Are accents and ñ preserved in the export?
Yes: real Spanish text with all diacritics (á, é, í, ó, ú, ñ, ü) in TXT, DOCX, SRT and VTT. For print-ready output, exporting DOCX and printing from Word gives the best typography.
How accurate is Spanish transcription?
